Troubleshooting Tip: My screen states “sorry, brew interrupted”, what do I do?

If you receive the Over Pressure message while brewing, please complete the following. Note, we recommend against using softened water as this can cause poor extraction and clogged needles. If using softened or distilled water, try changing your water source to a bottled or spring drinking water.
Materials Needed:
- Brewer Maintenance Accessory Tool
- Mug
- Beverage Pod
Troubleshooting Steps:
Step 1: Use caution and slowly lift the handle and remove the pod from the brewer
Step 2: Clean the needle by using the orange Brewer Maintenance Accessory. How to use the Keurig® Brewer Maintenance Accessory tool.
Step 3: Perform several water only (no pods) brews
Step 4: Brew a beverage pod. Was the brew successful?
- Yes: Troubleshooting successful – you are ready to brew!
